Sharon Choi is an interpreter and filmmaker living in Seoul, South Korea. She received widespread recognition as the award season interpreter for the South Korean film Parasite. She has interpreted for various other award-winning films and filmmakers including Minari and Burning. Frequently serving as a bridge between Korea and the rest of the world, she also writes and directs films that test the boundaries of language, culture, and identity.
